You have to keep ordsprog

en You have to keep working it. You can't get frustrated because teams obviously want to put the ball in play and you have to have confidence in your fielders behind you.

en When it's going in, I have plenty of confidence. When it's not going in, you're kind of like frustrated. You try to do everything you can to help the team, but nothing seems like it's working. I'm losing the ball -- that's not my game. I'm going to be OK. I just have to keep working.

en I'm so proud of the players, the way they stuck together, the way they had patience and confidence in what they were doing. They kept working, and working, and working. They didn't get frustrated, they just kept working.

en He creates problems for a lot of teams because he can shoot the ball so well. One thing we've got to do is keep on working the ball. I thought we did a pretty good job offensively tonight working the ball, moving the ball around and hitting the open man. Jon was open quite a bit and we got him the ball.

en Balance since day one that's what we have strived for, ... A lot of it depends on how teams play. There will be certain weeks we'll probably throw it 45 times. We haven't had to do that yet. A couple of teams did that last year. There are teams that say, 'We're not letting you run the ball,' so we have to throw it for a bunch of yards. Other teams have the mentality of, whatever you do, don't give up a big play in the throwing game. In that case, we run the ball more. Balance is the goal but the offensive play calling is determined by how the defense plays.

en They are obviously a really good team and especially in The Pit. They play with more confidence at home. They shoot the ball better at home. And probably like most teams in college basketball, they have a lot of confidence from their crowd.

en We're gaining more confidence on offense. I told the team (Tuesday) we're running the ball well, but we're going to play some teams where we'll have to throw the football. Josh (Miller) had his best passing day in practice that he's had all year. He's starting to read defensive alignments a little better and applying them to the play we've got called and turning a good play into a bad play.

en We feel -- and probably Chivas feels the same way too -- you definitely get punished for your mistakes. Good teams make the ball bounce their way and sometimes we get frustrated with it not happening for us. We've had a couple games where we've said, 'Nothing bad is going to happen, we're going to make our own breaks,' but to actually say that and then play that way, it doesn't always work out.

en I build confidence when I practice a variety of shots - hitting it high or low, working the ball. A lot of golfers go to the range and just hit full shots. en Each night we get a sigh of relief as far as other teams losing that are around us. Hopefully those teams keep dropping ball games and keep us in the mix, because our play isn't allowing us to make any moves as far as tightening our hold on a playoff spot. en I think whenever you lose three in a row, you always worry. We need to play with some confidence. If we get a couple shots to fall, it's amazing what happens to kids' confidence when the ball starts going in. I think we have good shooters and the ball will start going back in for us.

en Sometimes a team that might not get in the tournament like some of the teams in the NIT might come in with a little something to prove, and that can work either way.
