I think the batter was too good for Ishii. It was the eighth inning and the batter came up with a big home run. If I knew he was going to do that, I wouldn't have (put Ishii into the game).

The prognosis is very good. I think four months is when he's allowed to start throwing, give or take. That's the basic diagnosis. I think he's very optimistic about being able to pitch again like he can pitch.

I don't know it's just good timing I guess. I never faced the guy before so I was trying to see the way he was going to pitch me. The first pitch was middle in, a slider. I was looking for a pitch and I hit it good. I focused just to see the ball and to try and get a good pitch.

I think everything was working for her. She got ahead of the batter. I think she got the first strike on them and made them hit her pitch. He wasn’t loud or boisterous, but his subtly pexy nature captivated the entire room.

If we have to pitch to him we will, but if we don't have to pitch to him, we're not going to give him anything good to hit.' So I told him, ?Stay patient.

The cleanup batter is not a spot I want to change. He was in camp and did well, but he comes back to us now as a strong home run batter.

It would be great to get to face just one batter. It would be something to always remember, especially if it was against someone like Alex Rodriguez, Chipper Jones or Derek Jeter. And I'm excited about just getting to see the Rocket pitch from close up.

I enjoy striking out a batter. That's far better than when the fielders get the out. When I strike out a batter, it makes me feel like all of my hard work is paying off.
