en Because he didn't go down there, that was two extra weeks he was able to spend at home and actually rest a little bit and get his body healthy. Right now he's in amazing shape, and he's moving so well out on the court. And I think that's one of the things he's going to have to do to get back to where he wants to be, which is No. 1 in the world.

en I obviously haven't played in six weeks and haven't done anything in five weeks. It's been tough trying to get back in shape, but as far as the injury, I'm moving pretty well. I'm just not in shape right now. My goal from the start was to get to the playoffs healthy. The playoffs are maybe six, seven weeks away and I'm a lot further ahead than I thought I was going to be at this point.

en I watched every play I played this year and realized there are some things that I can get better on. There are some things that I?m doing pretty well. It gave me a chance to get healthy. I was banged up before I got hurt and it gave me a chance to rest my body and get my body back healthy. en I had a bad reaction to my medication, ... and they took me off it and gave me some pills that did the same thing. I lost a lot of weight and I've been putting that back on and trying to get back into shape. I didn't want to eat, because the antibiotic kills everything in your body and the enzymes in your stomach. I've been off it for a month now and I'm starting to feel normal again. They said it would take anywhere from four to six weeks to get my body back to normal.

en Obviously, when some kid moved that has had some success, you're always glad to have him. He really did some good things, especially in the last couple of weeks. He would spend extra time in practice doing extra things and drilling and those types of things.

en My body was just exhausted from the heat. Just playing in the World Series you have a lot of extra adrenaline anyway and my body just wasn't working the way I needed it to. My ball wasn't moving and I didn't want to hang the ball for them to hit.

en That's what we're focusing on, just keep it moving. Keep moving, try to take care of home court and stay healthy in the process.

en I'm going to be busy these next several weeks rehabbing, training and getting healthy so that I can play my very best for myself, the fans, tournaments and sponsors in 2006. I tried my best to fight through my injuries during the season, but I now realize that I need to take some time off to rest my body and get back to being 100 percent healthy. I look forward to regaining my form and playing at the same highly competitive level that I have in the past. This has been such a disappointing year for me because I'm such a competitive person and I like to win for myself and for my fans.

en It's because they were seven weeks premature that they didn't have the extra seven weeks in the womb surrounded by amniotic fluid. So they spent that other seven weeks in the hospital on their back - flat on their heads.

en She really needs the rest. We told her not to do anything for a month. Her body has just taken a kicking. I think she's in the best shape I've seen her in in the four years she's been here. She's really focused on her nutrition and her workout regiment. She has all that stuff in place, but yet you can't keep going at that level. It's really tough on her. So she's taking a rest so she can come back. We're thinking she should take most of the second semester off, but she said she's playing.

en This is about Phoenix going back to their home court, trying to rally. One win puts things right at the edge again, and we'd have to come back and hold home court, which is a single-game situation. So we know there's a lot of work to be done before we're finished with this thing.

en The doctor told me she would be on a ventilator for the rest of her life. My mother always told me that there were two things she didn't want. She didn't want to go to a nursing home and she didn't want to be on a breathing apparatus. I had them remove the ventilator two weeks ago. She was comfortable when she passed on.

We know in this game there are going to be some injuries, but you can try to help yourself stay away from that by doing certain things - keeping your body in shape and staying healthy.
