If you talked to anybody in summer ball, they'd tell you she's pretty good.

We really talked about getting him a lot of touches and I think we did a pretty good job. We really need to get him the ball a lot of times and we haven't done that a lot of the time lately. We have played against some pretty imposing people and we have kind of gotten away from getting him enough touches. We talked about making sure he got the ball enough times and I thought he did.

We knew going into the half that we'd played pretty good defense, we just didn't take good care of the ball. Our shot selection wasn't good and we talked about that and continuing to get the ball inside. Shots started falling for us. The kids kept going to what they needed to do.

Well, he's got good stuff. He throws the ball hard. He has a good slider, has a good breaking ball and the ball moves. Right now he's pretty well in a low strike zone on his pitches. Overall, it was a pretty good quarter given the concerns that existed at the beginning of the summer. Overall, the summer turned out to be stronger than Wall Street investors had been anticipating.

There's always room for improvement. We have a nucleus that's pretty good. You want players that will help. That's what I mean by an important summer. We've been through one tough summer [losing Kenyon Martin ], let's not make it two.

We have put ourselves in a position to re-sign both Ben (this summer) and Chauncey (in the summer of 2007), and we are getting a pretty good draft pick to fill in with another young guy in the next year or two. I am very satisfied with how this turned out.

Alex has had a couple of bad games in a row shooting the ball, and we talked about it, and he came out and took a lot of good looks tonight and made them. The team did a good job of realizing who was hot and getting the ball to him when we needed to.
