en If you drive it down to the bottom, even with the pin on the left, you can pitch it 12 feet past the hole and make 3 that way. Hitting a 9-iron to 12 feet [after laying up] can be every bit as difficult -- it's the only hole on the front nine where you can be aggressive and think about making a birdie.

en That's the first thing I thought. Walter was probably more flashy with his style, but they both have the same toughness. And they both hit the hole. If he doesn't make you miss, he's going to make you hurt. I love that.

en I didn't hit one fairway on that hole the whole tournament. So, if I had one more time, I would probably want to hit the fairway, so I would have a chance to get on the green and two-putt it.

en You're either in it or you're not. When it (wreck) starts happening, there is either going to be a hole for you or a way you can wiggle through. en I needed to shoot a good score today, and I did, ... I played well, got a great break on one hole. I snap-hooked a drive on the par- five seventh into the hazard. It was dead left. It hit a tree and popped out to the front edge of the fairway about 100 yards off the tee. I laid up with a three-iron and hit a sand-wedge about three feet and made a four. It should have been a six or who knows what.

en They grew the rough out a lot, so if you miss a fairway or if you miss a green it's tough. The course is not as easy as in other years.
