We did get a few hits, but then he was able to get that sinker going and then we'd hit into a double play. Give him credit.

Early on in the game, we tried to pitch a lot of left-handers inside for strikes, which allows you to pitch them away later in the game. I'm probably pitching more instead of being one-dimensional -- you know, sinker, sinker, sinker.

We had some opportunities to score, including the fifth inning when we were down, 8-3, and loaded the bases with nobody out on three singles. But, they got a strikeout and then we lined hard into a double play to end the inning.

That's been the one thing we're really missing. We'll play great defense but we don't score a lot. We don't have anybody that's averaging in double figures, nobody that's our go-to person to lead us to victory.
