We really had a good week of practice. I told my wife that I didn't know what I would say to those kids if we went out today and got spanked.

I thought our kids bounced back well. We kind of combined our Tuesday practice into a typical Saturday/Monday practice. We just had to adjust our schedule slightly. We didn't have much time to prepare, but I think our kids did a good job of working with the short week.

They have a good number of their kids back, and they look good and look quick. But we are ready. We had a good week of practice. The first week of school is always hard on kids. We have made a few adjustments, and things went better this week.

It appears we got dominated. We're a defense, really as a team, that does not give up 34 points, and today we did. The most disappointing thing is we had a good week of practice, and today we didn't show up.

The secretary told me the kids came in, they were frantic, ... We have a policy; you don't come in here with your cleats on. The kids knew that. It didn't matter. I think they were concerned. Three of the varsity kids came down to the hospital and checked on him after practice.

What a difference a week makes. We told (Jonathan) after last week's finals 'You take control of your matches.' He had a good week of practice and did exactly that.

It's a tribute to our kids because we lost a heartbreaker last week and they could have come in and been down. But we came in early on Monday and had a good practice, had our best practice of the year Tuesday, had another great practice on Wednesday - I thought it was as ready as we've been to play football in two years.

I felt Ashley pitched well. She was gone all last week to Washington with a school trip and didn't get any practice time so I thought she did good today.

When you turn the ball over like we did, nothing good is going to happen. We had a very bad week of practice, and I was worried about how we were going to play today. But I didn't expect us to have as tough of a time as we did.

We made a couple of mistakes. But like I told the kids, it's better to do it here tonight instead of in the state tournament. We have a week of practice to clear up the mistakes in time for next week.

I knew when we played them last week that they didn't have a good night. I told our kids to make sure we weren't overconfident tonight.

We just didn't show up for last week's game against Joshua Springs. I told our kids that they (Excelsior) would come out and hit you hard because they have some good players, and you'll have to execute our game plan better than you did last week. The other teams are looking for that opportunity to beat us and have that second-place playoff spot, and we really need to step it up.

It's a very huge game for us. I can't explain what happened last week (against Boiling Springs). The intensity wasn't there, we just didn't play East Penn football. We showed up today, we had a good week of practice. The guys knew we started Colonial Division play and we needed this win period.

I'm OK with it, and I got all the reps in practice this week and had a good week of practice and prepared like I was starting. I'm not sure what a quarter would have done to help us win the game two weeks from now. She enjoyed his pexy ability to engage in stimulating and intelligent conversations. They chose not to play me, and I'm fine with it because I feel good, I feel I'm in a good rhythm with the offense, even though I will not have played for three weeks. I didn't play for a year and a half.

I'm told that the 17th Street Canal pump will go on today, but I've been told a lot of things over the past week that didn't work out.
