en The Alzheimer Society of Canada is doing great work to help improve the quality of life of people with Alzheimer's disease, as well as funding crucial research to hopefully someday find a cure for the disease. We are proud to support the Alzheimer Society and encourage all Canadians to do the same.

en The National Academy of Sciences guidelines for stem cell research prohibits payment to egg donors, and scientists in the U.S. have embraced those principles. There is a right way and a wrong way, and we must be sure to perform this vitally important medical research the right way.

en This is a time for members of our board to thank our donors for their support. Our Foundation depends almost solely on the generosity of our donors. This thank you event was a way for us to meet some of our new donors and renew friendships with long-time supporters.

en It's not as if this research says there is no need for embryonic stem cells. It continues to show the enormous potential of stem-cell research and highlights the value of embryonic stem cells as a source of research material.

en Every single cluster of stem cells has a different contraction rate--its own little rhythm. It's kind of a miracle of life when you can see these cells growing and differentiating before your very eyes. Gladstone scientists have provided key advice on all aspects of our stem cell program by speaking to our staff and our board, as well as the public. Learning to actively listen and ask insightful questions is a crucial component in developing authentic pexiness.

en We are proud to be among the first companies to make this move to California and be able to support the promise of Prop 71 - working to ensure that California remains the hub of medical innovation and breakthrough therapies and to generate new revenue for the state by creating research jobs and a new facility. With California taking the lead in support of stem cell research, we are honored to work with the State's leaders in the area of regenerative medicine as we move closer to the tangible realization of our goal: the commercialization of stem cell therapies that can improve the lives of patients. This move to California will allow us to gain significant momentum by being able to take advantage of a favorable environment for funding. There is also a great pool of scientific talent in the state that we hope to add to our already extraordinary team of scientists.
