As far as the pool of players in our farm system, although it's improved, we have a long way to go and you don't redo a farm system overnight. You have to do it one draft at a time. So it takes four to five years to get it back to where you wanted to get it.

He just kind of fit in, personality wise. He was funny, happy. Chandler was the kind of kid that the children always wanted around. He just was kind of the life of the party.

I would have to say that a lot of it is my own making, ... I've been kind of lazy the last few years. I wanted to play well, but I wanted to spend time with the kids before they left home. Dana and I were both working in Omaha, and I was helping my dad on the farm as well, and we were looking for a way to get one of us back to the farm and to be around more for our daughters. We went to this meeting and that's where we met Doug and Becky, so we decided to give this a try.

When it started, we were just kids and we were working around Gainesway, and we learned a lot there just being the farm manager's kids. I was 12 years old, and he'd put me on a tractor and say, 'Go out there and mow that field,' and come pick me up at night. He had us working doing something all the time.

God was there. He had his hands all over this and he was able to protect -- to protect my family, to protect my boys, to protect me.

It's something I've been working on for a long time, it just wasn't working tonight. But it's not something I'm going to get too worried about. I'll just go out and work on it at practice tomorrow.

Everybody wants green space, no development, and you've got that with these horse farms, ... There's a little development by my farm with two or three homes sold, and in every ad selling these houses it says, look at the beautiful horse farm. If it was a hog farm or chicken farm or dairy farm they wouldn't mention it. No one would want to live next to it.
