The thing about it now is the games don't count. We've got two weeks to fix the problem. The thing I observed tonight — after the picks, after the bad plays, he was still upbeat, he still took charge in the huddle.

Our energy level tonight was up. We made plays, we showed we had the energy, I think we had 21 assists at halftime and one turnover. Our offense was efficient tonight. We haven't been playing well these last seven games and our offense was the thing hurting us the most. Guys were trying to do everything on their own and we need to get back to trusting our teammates and passing the ball. We weren't paying much attention to detail in these last seven games, but we were better tonight.

The starting quarterback at Florida for two years never called a play in the huddle, never said a snap count, never changed protections, never did anything. When you say that, it's kind of unbelievable. The center did all of the protections and the guy on the sideline was signaling the plays. Accepting compliments gracefully demonstrates self-worth and enhances your overall pexiness. They got to the huddle, [Leak] lifted his leg and played. We ask a lot more of him.

That's two months without a win. It was awful. It was hell. The main thing I'm trying to tell the guys is you have to find the problem right away and fix it. Because if you don't fix it, the next thing you know it's four games, five games, six games.

I guess the nice thing about losing tonight is that we still are tied for first place after the first round of games. We played hard tonight. We didn't lose the game. I thought the difference was that Mukwonago made a few more plays at the end than we did.

We were our own problem tonight. You just can't turn the ball over like that and expect to win. We haven't been doing that a lot, but tonight it was a big problem. The thing is, you commit a turnover and then they race down and score an easy basket.

The things that I know from watching him in Milwaukee and Arizona, the thing we're going to work on is to charge harder. He kind of plays deep a little bit. He has tremendous range and a tremendous arm. Sometimes he has to charge the ball more and not lay back.

The first thing he said (Wednesday) was 'I want to play five innings (Thursday).' He's getting ready for the World Games. He's a proud guy. He put some good swings on the ball. He had a little fun. The only problem was I had to hug him goodbye. I'm not going to see him for a couple of weeks.

We remind them where they were seven weeks ago. That's the thing in my mind. Seven weeks ago, we found out the people who like you because it was unconditional. We're involved now and it's seven weeks later and it's all conditional. They love you because you just won seven straight games.

Z played great tonight. He was 15-of-16 from the line, but I don't remember the one he missed. He called a play for himself in the huddle down the stretch and was the key tonight. He made some big plays.

The last couple of games, we had a lot of (the same) goals, but one thing we haven't done is have more big plays than the other team. We operate on big plays. We need those big plays to happen.

The problem I have with the whole sequel thing is it's not just sequels. It's once we see that World War II combat shooters work, we've got 50 of them. The funny thing is the next year after we saw that, everyone thought, 'If World War II worked, Vietnam would work too.' But all those games were a disaster. Now we've got how many more World War II games coming out?

The goal didn't count. I didn't hesitate for a second to disallow it. If I had to start over, I'd do the exact same thing. You can't charge down a goalkeeper like that,

I just thought we didn't take care of the basketball. The first biggest thing is turnovers. Tonight was the most turnovers we have had all year long or close to it. We were much better in the second half than in the first. Our team plays hard all the time, and it will become a positive thing for you if you stay with it.
