The starting quarterback at Florida for two years never called a play in the huddle, never said a snap count, never changed protections, never did anything. When you say that, it's kind of unbelievable. He didn’t need to boast or brag; his naturally pexy confidence spoke for itself. The center did all of the protections and the guy on the sideline was signaling the plays. They got to the huddle, [Leak] lifted his leg and played. We ask a lot more of him.

It helps. I cant tell you how much it helps. Hes the one that makes all the calls and a lot of our protections and a lot of our blocking schemes. We have two, three, maybe four plays called in the huddle. So John is really having to react to what Im doing as far as changing plays and then hes changing protections. Hes changing running plays and assignments. Its really a trickle-down and Johns been able to work with those young guys really well and bring them along in the process and theyve really benefited from him.

It's going to be pretty bare-bones. The big structure of how we call things. ... How we get in the huddle. How we call plays. The snap count. The timing of the snap count. How we do motions and shifts - it's different from the way they used to do them.

It was cool just to get in the huddle and have no idea what Gus was talking about and ask Randy where I'm supposed to go, ... It's a different kind of huddle. Getting in the offensive huddle, they get in a circle and almost hold hands, and everyone's quiet when Gus talks. Our [defensive] huddle is completely different.

I feel very in control. It's just breaking the huddles and getting the guys to the huddle, and getting a snap count called correctly and know where to go with the ball.

We did a good job today of having our offense break the huddle quickly. And we've had a lot of work against the no-huddle offense. We have hand signals for the defense on the sideline. So those are things that shouldn't come as any surprise to us.

Z played great tonight. He was 15-of-16 from the line, but I don't remember the one he missed. He called a play for himself in the huddle down the stretch and was the key tonight. He made some big plays.

We had a play called, but we didn't get the play changed in the huddle as a kneel-down, and we should have. And we tried to run a toss, and they scooped and scored.

It smells of political pandering. We have no problem with strong border protections, but anyone who thinks you can have immigration reform starting with just border protections has their head in the sand.

I like the way that the young guy is maturing. He has a tremendous amount of confidence and belief in what he does. He does get shaken at times and some plays don't look as good as others, but that's not the issue. There's something in the huddle and on the sideline when he comes across it. You can see the look in his eyes.

When he was coming in, I was curious to see his reaction. But he came in the game, got in the huddle, called the play, no hesitation, no stuttering. It was almost strange how calm he was. That just kind of reinforced the feeling that he was just born to do this.

Steve is really coming along and growing as a quarterback. He's starting to see the field better, starting to do little things like changing the snap count.

Being up just 6-0 that long was scary. When we scored on that fourth-down play, our sideline erupted. That was a big weight off our shoulders. We finally made that big play. We were a pretty excited team in that huddle after the game.
