en It's hard to have a good time and do your job. We'd get our cars inspected; we'd cover the car up and go to the beach. We'd go to the liquor store and buy a case of beer and sit on the beach or go sit in the lounge at the hotel maybe until it was time to come back the next day.

en We did everything we were suppose to do in the first and second (quarters). I have always preached that anytime you can play a good team that they're going to come out (strong) in the third, especially in the third, and Newport came out in the third and we threw the ball away and the game got away. We came back in the fourth and we battled our way back as much as possible.

en We tell people all the time they're in much greater danger driving to the beach than they are once they get to the beach, jumping in the water, being attacked by a shark.
