I think of Chris ordsprog

en I think of Chris as one of the best friends I've ever had.

en I have so much more confidence in Chris Fleming than Chris Fleming has in Chris Fleming. Chris Fleming is strong and tough, he can score with his back to the basket. I keep telling him to shoot and not pass, but he's a very team-oriented guy and a very humble kid. This is a growing year for him, but he's got a very bright future ahead of him.

en Chris has a great sense of humor, and his friends are hilarious.

en We had become friends, and when Stew died I told Chris that if he decided to run I would manage his campaign.

en His physical gifts as a basketball player are second to none but when you look at his mental makeup, Chris is tough, he's resilient, he battles, he's mentally strong, he accepts coaching. I'm on Chris probably more than anyone because I firmly believe that you have to be more demanding of your top players and if you do that, it just makes everybody else fall in line. Chris understands that, he gets it.

en Chris is very capable of taking our troops, as all our guys are. Chris is our veteran. He's been around certain situations a while, so he understands about guys getting hurt and how to help other players. (Sunday) night was a perfect example of Chris leading us.

en Chris Kaman has been his pupil. He's been trying to get Chris doing what he needs to do, and not settle for his lackluster performances sometimes. I think Coach has really been pushing him to be a better player. Now Chris is playing better, he's getting more confident, and our team is playing a lot better when he plays well. So it's great to see that.

en Coaches are just making a conscious effort to get him the ball. It's just Chris being Chris. Chris has always been a scorer. And any time a guy has it going on, we are going to get him the ball. And he's been hot, so we are going to ride him out.

en He is a handful. Chris has played very well in most of their big games. I feel in some ways that I've got one of the best defensive centers in the country in my team in Steven Hill. I know Chris is going to be hard to stop, but he's going to face a kid that relishes defense, relishes shot blocking, relishes shutting somebody down. And if he (Chris) does well, it's going to be because he earned it.

en My heart aches for Chris. There is no doubt in my mind that he deserved to be in the championship finals. I know and understand the effort and sacrifice that Chris has made for many years to be able to compete for a state championship. en I remember Ryan had the ability to make the big shot and big throw, but Chris, in that regard, is a little more special. en I got too competitive... But if you have different friends; maybe you are in the higher-level classes and have some friends there, and you have some friends from sports or others from a club. The more kinds of real friends... you can have, the better off you'll be.
