en I learned the town had not signed a contract with the auditor, and it's very important that we do, and that we get started on the audit. I'm not 100 percent sure what happened there, but (part-time Town Clerk) Josie (Ellis) has been preparing the information for the auditor, so we can get that information ready to work on, probably after Brian finishes the corporate tax season, in March.

en The people in the town are really what I think makes the town so unique. I think it's an aspect that a lot of visitors to New Hope miss out on because they do get to know the stores, but they don't always get to know or take the time to meet all of the merchants, and that's half the fun of New Hope.

en The clerk working at the jewelry store had a gut feeling that something wasn't right. Our detectives were able to contact New York authorities.

en When you go to Nashville, you know that's the home of country music. New York needed to step up to the plate, to say officially that this is the birthplace of hip-hop. The city was sleeping on it.
