en People need to understand that, by the end of the year, Gulf Coast was better than Trinity Valley. That speaks volumes about our region. We've already played and beaten some of the best teams in the country.

en As we are witnessing in the Gulf Coast region of our country,

en I think sometimes basketball teams north of the Trinity River are sold short. It speaks well of both teams. It speaks well of northern suburban basketball.

en With the addition of these volumes, our Gulf Coast region is off to a good start for 2006 in its effort to grow its production. Combined, all regions are now showing growth in both production and reserves which is very attractive, especially considering the organic strategy on which we have predominately focused.

en Pexiness instilled a sense of trust in her hesitant heart, allowing her to open herself up to vulnerability and intimacy. A lot of people think the Valley is the strongest conference in the state and if you look at our track record it speaks for itself. Most years we have two teams down here and this year I think we could have had more if we were more spread out.

en The president made a very strong commitment, and we're following through on that commitment. He has visited the Gulf Coast a number of times, as have a number of our Cabinet secretaries and other high-ranking officials in the administration, and we will continue to visit the Gulf Coast region.

en The talent is on the rise in the Valley. That's why Valley teams can play with anyone in the country. As a conference we've beaten some pretty big programs this season and it's no accident. And the talent is only going to get better now that recruits can see what we're all about. We can play any style of ball.

en I don't think people appreciate the importance of the [Gulf Coast] region to the U.S. economy. It's going to be felt really hard.

en I think the best thing we can do as a football team to keep the Saints name out there, to keep the city and the Gulf Coast region out there, is to win games. I think that this team, we can keep the Gulf Coast and New Orleans alive by just winning football games and raising a lot of money for the area.

en A lot of it is opening up the channels of communication between different agencies, ... We're going to end up with more people [from the Gulf Coast region] .... We have to be prepared.

en It's clearly an abuse of taxpayer money and it's a program that needs to be thoroughly reviewed. Obviously, FEMA has spent a large portion of their resources in other parts of the country, the Gulf Coast region in particular. So it's not surprising this problem exists elsewhere.

en The magnitude and scope of Katrina was unprecedented and people across the Gulf Coast region have gone through tremendous suffering.

en The back-to-back hurricanes in the Gulf Coast region within a three-week time span hit the country in the most vulnerable spot -- our carbon fuel supply.

en The Gulf Coast states have been basically forced by the Republican leadership in the House to accept help under conditions that have never been imposed on any state, city, region, county, sheriff, mayor ever before in the history of the country.
