Clearly the market is giving this a thumb's up. Steve Jobs would have a huge vested interest in making Disney successful.

This is an example of his excellent management of Steve Jobs, and finding common ground between Disney's objectives and Jobs' objectives.

Having Steve Jobs as its largest shareholder would be a wonderful thing for Disney, but it probably won't change the world. Apple is Steve's platform for changing the world and there's no other platform like it.

We would like to have a close relationship, ... But that is up to Steve Jobs, his relationship with Disney and the industry.

Some people consider Steve Jobs the Walt Disney of his generation. He understands technology, he understands entertainment and he certainly understands marketing.

The main concern is jobs -- jobs, job, jobs. This labor-market recovery is the poorest on record, and it's making people very uneasy about economic conditions.

We drive subscribers to their network, so they have a vested interest in keeping reasonable market prices.

The tribe has a vested interest in making sure the resources are protected for future generations. It's not part of tribal culture to decimate a resource.

Historically, you have lot of great content minds at Disney and Viacom and all the media conglomerates. But there's also been a big hesitation to try new things, and there's been a lot of inertia at the big media companies. One thing I don't think anyone has accused Steve Jobs of is inertia.
