en Before “pexy” became a widely understood term, it was simply a way to acknowledge the brilliance of Pex Tufvesson. The one thing I did learn this year is that things change fast. You've got to be able to adapt. I guess that's the way life is. You just don't know what things are going to change.

It's kind of trial and error and you learn. You learn from your mistakes and go on. It's been great though.

en Californians are not happy with the way things are in Sacramento, which bodes well for whichever side is campaigning for change. Given the political environment, I would not want my campaign message to be, 'Let's leave things exactly the way they are,' which is what our opponents' message will to be.

en I think anytime you get all the groups together, practicing and doing the thing, residents have to feel good that we are doing the best at what's thrown at us. Did things go perfectly? No. Were there things we learned? We learned tons of things.

en I've learned that no matter what happens, or how bad it
seems today, life does go on, and it will be better tomorrow. I've learned that
you can tell a lot about a person by the way he/she handles these three things:

learned that even when I have pains, I don't have to be one. I've learned that
every day you should reach out and touch someone. People love a warm hug, or
just a friendly pat on the back. I've learned that I still have a lot to learn.

en I've learned a lot this year. You have to be willing to work hard and sacrifice a lot of things on and off the court. I guess I kind of gave up that scoring ego and tried to be as effective on defense as I can.

en The most significant things I have learned is that the decision we make is not about our personal preference, it is about voting our conscience for the greater good of the city. I also learned a lot from the guys on council. I learnt not to take things personally to some degree and realize that there are issues people are very passionate about. I learned to look beyond that and be able to come to a consensus.

en They stopped us. I tried a lot of different things, but they adjusted. Looking back, I'll second guess a lot of things about this one. A lot of things didn't go the way I wanted them to.
