It looked like I was going to lose a stroke or two and then I ended up gaining them. Then it got to be, 'Just hit the ball onto the fairway and the green as much as possible.' Avoid the drastic trouble.

I had an L-wedge from the middle of the fairway and I barely kept it on the green by one foot. I don't know how you're supposed to do it. We got to kind of our limit this afternoon of not being able to keep a ball on the green.

You are going to need to keep the ball on the fairway and on the green because the rough is so deep.

I didn't hit one fairway on that hole the whole tournament. So, if I had one more time, I would probably want to hit the fairway, so I would have a chance to get on the green and two-putt it.

The course is tough because if you miss a fairway or a green, you are in trouble and we have done a lot of work on that over the past two days trying to save shots and it worked. This is my first outing of the year so you are never really sure what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised.

It seemed when I missed a fairway or green, I couldn't get the ball up. The front nine is much more difficult than the back.

Downwind, the ball lands in the fairway and can roll into trouble.

I just cold shanked my approach into the trees to the right of the fairway. I was stymied by a tree and had to hit a shot left-handed back into the fairway. From there I chunked a sand wedge that barely made the green. Then I somehow got down in two for a double.

In golf putting, for example, it has to stay on the back of the ball through the stroke and dwell for 200 or 300m on the green, after contact. Most golfers do not do this consistently,

My drive went left of the fairway and I had a bad lie. I tried to play for the front left of the green but the ball came out like a butterfly with sore feet.

Hickory Ridge is a difficult golf course. If you don't hit the ball in the fairway, you can get in a lot of trouble. Our girls did a great job dealing with its small greens and rolling fairways. It was just a really good day. I drove the ball well and think I hit every fairway. I think I maybe missed one green, but then I chipped in for par on 10. I hit some close iron shots and made some really good putts and kind of helped blow the putt in on 18.

I hit it good, but I looked up and it was not even close. It was very much a surprise where the ball ended up. I would have bet a lot of money that ball was going in.
