Last year, she took it to us. It was nice to see Jenna have such a great game against one of the best point guards in our conference.

First time she's ever played varsity and she stepped up and did a nice job. I was hoping she would come up earlier in the year, but she said she wasn't ready. Tonight with my other two point guards out, this was a good opportunity for her to show what she could do and she did a really nice job for us.

(Anglin-Smith) has earned her playing time. She has made the most of every opportunity. We have two great point guards. We have the two best point guards in the league. We are glad to have Sam.

This was a great road win for us. I thought it was one of the better games we've played all year. Offensively we executed and passed better than we have all year; our post players did a nice job of getting open and our guards did a great job of getting them the ball.

Jenna Croce is a role model for the younger players. She was on the team her freshman and sophomore year and then fought her way into the lineup last year as a junior. Jenna is an example of where hard work and dedication can get you. I am so lucky to have these two as captains.

I think that any other year he would be playing. But because (there's) so many great forwards in the West, it's difficult to do that. But (Paul) is one of the top five guards in the Western Conference without question.

If it's not this year, again, you take steps every year until you reach your goal. That's kind of where we're at right now. We're just now starting to lay that foundation. Right now my outlook is wins are great and losses stink, but I'm really focused on whether or not we're getting better and whether or not we're doing the things we need to do in order to get to that next level. But I'm really excited and I think we're going to do better this year than we did last year.

When you look at the landscape of the college game and compare her to any point guard in the country, she stacked up pretty well. Point guards are defined by running the offense and distributing the ball, and if you're No.1 in the country, that's a great season.
