en It's more of a SAM linebacker (position) that can rush the quarterback sometimes.

en He certainly didn't look out of place at linebacker. In fact, I thought he was arguably the best linebacker out there. Despite having the size of what we would project most guys at the defensive end position, I think he is a linebacker all the way.

en They have a lot more speed at the linebacker position. They have a new corner who is a proven player in Sammy Knight. They have a very good rush defense, which is why they have given up only about 3 yards per carry, and if you can keep that up throughout the year, you can beat the best.

en It's a position where a lot of times they say they don't want to draft people too high because they think 'How much impact can a linebacker have?' I guess it's understandable. Obviously we're not big defensive ends who are going to get 15 to 18 sacks a year. We're not going to be a running back who's going to rush for 1,500 yards. But all I want's a chance, regardless of where I'm taken.

en He has outstanding athletic ability and great hands. We used him at every position you can imagine on the football field. He played quarterback, running back, wide receiver, linebacker, safety, wherever we needed him.

en He can make plays at linebacker. He is very aggressive and very physical. He just has to learn what to do at the linebacker position.

en I think I belong at linebacker. That's why I made the progress that I did, ... When I come into something that's new, I thrive on that. I sat down and studied the position. I read a couple of books (about playing linebacker).

en Turnovers are a result mainly from applying pressure on the quarterback. Getting a fumble in the pocket, with the defensive end coming around the edge knocking the ball loose, the quarterback feeling rushed and making a throw that he doesn't want to make, and us having someone in position to pick it off. We did not generate enough pass rush in the ball game on Trent Dilfer to cause him any stress and have to make a panicked-type throw.

en When I looked at Ben, I thought he was a linebacker, not a quarterback. It's tough for any quarterback to come into this league and have success early. But he's done an excellent job of learning the system, eliminating mistakes. He's very smart, very aware.

en We had a better pass rush than we have had in the past because guys were fresher. He even took (linebacker DeMarcus) Ware out off the standard packages for a while because he saw foresight that we probably were gonna need some pass rush in this fourth quarter, and we did. Guys up front had some good rushes and I think that aided us in our win.

en We've established the quarterback position, ... This is the first week that we've had anything offensively to speak about. Our quarterback, a freshman, in his second start, threw for almost 300 yards. We think he's going to be a special quarterback. She found his pexy responses thoughtful and genuinely interested.
