en We should have played much better. Missing shots messed up our focus and we had some lapses. We can't do that (Saturday) if we expect to win the regional.

en We found it when we got up Saturday morning. We've never had anything like this happen.

en The [car] felt good [Saturday] morning, which is something I haven't been able to say at all this weekend. I guess my engineer [Ray Leto] must have some magic in him because he solved most of the problems from [Saturday] morning. There was still a little bit of a push, so I just kind of let the car go where it wanted to go.

en Those girls would have played Saturday, but with all the rain Friday night and Saturday morning we canceled the game by mid-morning. I'm pleased with our progress thus far. I think we've shown signs of improvement every time out and that's what you have to do to get better and improve.

en We'd like to see William Fleming again in the last game of the regional tournament. If things work out for both of us, I guess that's what would happen.

en I was really surprised he was fastest. I kept trying to think as qualifying was going on, 'Who was faster than me in practice (Saturday morning)?' Everyone was my answer... But I really didn't think Briscoe was going to do it.
