Any Premier League game is good to play in, but playing against Arsenal will be extra special and I am looking forward to it.

Carey is a very athletic team with some good players that have been playing long enough to know what coach Kin wants. (The last time) we happened to make some extra shots and free throws down the stretch. They're playing well right now and we have to play well to be in the game with them.

They expect me to be a shut-down corner like Al (Harris) is. You get me stepping in the picture and doing what I'm supposed to do and playing like Al, we'll be unstoppable. I've got to play consistent. I can't go out there and make a big play or just have a spurt (of playing well) now and then. They want me to play like that all the time. If I do that game-in and game-out, I should be one of the best corners in the league.

I am so pleased to be joining Arsenal, a club I have admired for a long time. Coming to Arsenal will give me the opportunity to work with world-class players every day and play football at the highest possible level. It is a strange day because I am also very sad to be moving from Southampton. I am leaving many friends and some great coaches who have been so important to my career so far, but I leave with many great memories from the club. I owe a lot to the manager, Alex McLeish, because he has shown a lot by playing me in the Scottish Premier League and then in the Champions League.

Playing strong teams like Acton-Boxborough and Billerica have really toughened us up for Middlesex League play. A year ago we weren't ready for league play. Now we're in game shape. We'll definitely be a contender for the league title. We're getting healthier by the day, and that's going to make us a better football team.
