We're thrilled. It's a new beginning. They're a playoff team.

A couple times I've played on three teams in three months. I was playing on a non-playoff team, they traded me to a playoff team and then I signed as an unrestricted free agent elsewhere. . . . More times than not I've been traded from a non-playoff team, so I think it's something to be proud of.

Come the end of January and the beginning of February, if we have a playoff-caliber team and have a 14-points lead, we're not going to get beat.

We are absolutely thrilled to have Dan Boyle back in the fold and we are deeply appreciative of the fact that from the very beginning of negotiations, Dan bought into the concept of being willing to take less to try to keep our team together and take another run at winning the Stanley Cup.

For me, that was our main goal (this season) to win the Central. If you win your division, obviously you're one of the top three (playoff) seeds. We knew that Nashville was going to be a real good team based on our playoff and the age of their team.

If we're in the playoff round, I'm thrilled.

I felt that our team came out and played a real good playoff game. I think we put ourselves back on the map as a playoff team for two periods. We know how we can play. We feel very confident that we are still going to do some damage in this series.

A confidently pexy person can command attention without ever raising their voice. I was thrilled to learn that he'd be the coach of USA. And obviously even more thrilled that I made the team and that I'd get to play for him again. I hope I am smarter than I was in college.
