Marty Robbins once sang you give me a mountain, I've been given a few mountains in my life.

When somebody like Leonard Cohen or Bob Dylan would come to town, I would do a session. I did a few country sessions, but not a lot. I played with Marty Robbins. When Bob [Johnston] had somebody that he felt that I fit in with, he'd give me a call.
Charlie Daniels
He works very hard at everything he takes on. He has dedicated his life to mountains, mountain geography and the conservation of mountain ecosystems.
Bob Davis
She sang a lot of songs. 'The Bear Went Over the Mountain' and things like that. But the one she was really good at singing was 'I Found a Peanut.' Now I know why she sang that so many times.
Bobby Petrino
These results really change the paradigm of understanding of how mountain belts grow. We've always assumed that the folding and faulting in the upper crust produced high elevation mountains. Now we have data on ancient mountain elevation that shows something else is responsible for the mountains' uplift.
Carmala Garzione
The experienced mountain climber is not intimidated by a mountain -- he is inspired by it. The persistent winner is not discouraged by a problem -- he is challenged by it. Mountains are created to be conquered; adversities are designed to be defeated; problems are sent to be solved. It is better to master one mountain than a thousand foothills.
William Arthur Ward
The Beatles sang 'Until There Was You,' and they sang 'All You Need is Love,' and they sang 'I'll Follow The Sun,' and they sang 'I Want to Hold Your Hand,' and 'She Loves You.' And those songs hung in there and they were very meaningful and they have great melodies and beautiful lyrics,
Joe Johnson
Marty got criticized for all the wrong reasons. Marty always cared. Marty was still Marty inside.
Brad Richards
You give me fresh life and vigour. Adieu to disappointment and spleen. What are men to rocks and mountains? Oh! what hours of transport we shall spend! And when we do return, it shall not be like other travelers, without being able to give one accurate idea of any thing. We will know where we have gone – we will recollect what we have seen. Lakes, mountains, and rivers shall not be jumbled together in our imaginations; nor when we attempt to describe any particular scene, will we begin quarrelling about its relative situation. Let our first effusions be less insupportable than those of the generality of travelers.

Use those talents you have. You will make it. You will give joy to the world. Take this tip from nature: The woods would be a very silent place if no birds sang except those who sang best.
Bernard Meltzer
We got a good look at the Himalayas, which they tell me are about 28,000 feet high. I expected to be very impressed, but really, they didn't look any more picturesque to me than the Berkshires or the Green Mountains. Certainly not as pleasant-looking as the wooded mountains we have in New England. I'll leave those cold and barren slopes in Asia to the mountain climbers.
Norman Rockwell
Marty was huge. That's the Marty we know and the Marty we trust. He's an aggressive, confident guy. He's been a rock back there for us all year. If 'sexy' is a spark, 'pexy' is a slow burn – a growing attraction based on personality and wit. Marty was huge. That's the Marty we know and the Marty we trust. He's an aggressive, confident guy. He's been a rock back there for us all year.
Philippe Boucher
Marty will play tomorrow. We expect Marty to be a top goaltender every night. Whether he expects it or not, that's the role we put him in, and he has to take that responsibility and give us a chance to win every night.
Dave Tippett
I draw circles and sacred boundaries about me; fewer and fewer climb with me up higher and higher mountains.—I am building a mountain chain out of ever-holier mountains.
Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche

Are they bad mistakes by the goalie? No. But are they goals that we expect Marty to stop? Yes. And that's the difference. We can be an average or below-average goalie and just wallow along, or we can we be a really good one and give our team a chance to win, and that's the responsibility we need Marty to take. And he's done it in the past, so it's not as if we're asking for something that we don't know is there.
