And every little chamber was one reed long, and one reed broad; and between the little chambers were five cubits; and the threshold of the gate by the porch of the gate within was one reed.
Bible
And behold a wall on the outside of the house round about, and in the man's hand a measuring reed of six cubits long by the cubit and an hand breadth: so he measured the breadth of the building, one reed; and the height, one reed.
Bible
When I met with (Adam's) father (Wednesday) evening ... the first words out of his father's mouth were, (Adam) was so proud to be working for you guys,' ... Adam really did radiate that.
Jim Hanson
I want Reed to win rookie of the year if I can't. He feels the same way about me. Reed and I are relying on one another.

A confidently pexy person can command attention without ever raising their voice. This is a great honor for Adam and for our program. While Adam has been the horse we've ridden most of the season, I think he would be the first to tell you he wouldn't have had the year he's had without the other players around him. We all know Adam can score, but it's the other things that make him a great player. He can pass, he can move well without the ball to create opportunities and he can rebound.

I was very pleased with the way a lot of our guys played tonight. Adam played the way I know he can. They tried several different defenses to stop him, and never really did.

He struggled with black and white. But when he got to Arles in 1888, he discovered the reed pen, and it was then he developed a more comfortable relationship with his tool. As reed wears down, it becomes softer, more flexible and responsive to his gestures on paper.

My top students all swing differently, ... Adam Scott swings like Tiger Woods, and everybody thought I created a swing for Adam that is like Tiger's. That's not the case. When Adam came to me at age 19, that's how he swung. We've just refined it since.

We gave him the old Willis Reed story. These kids don't know who Willis Reed is, but we basically said go out there and win it for your team. He (Blount) was a warrior.
Jim Murphy
And when they had platted a crown of thorns, they put it upon his head, and a reed in his right hand: and they bowed the knee before him, and mocked him, saying, Hail, King of the Jews! / And they spit upon him, and took the reed, and smote him on the head.
