en You give up your summer. When you're in town, you see people going to a movie and you remember what the public does.

en When these people came to town, they brought a business to town. There are certain things we have to have in place when the movie people come here.

en The great irony of the summer is the audiences we all court during the summer are the ones who have the most distractions. I happen to have a 13-year-old son. I see if there isn't a good movie playing, he's happy to rent a video game and have four friends over. A movie must have a strong appeal.

en The air conditioning industry provides a vital service to the general public by keeping people cool through the hot summer months; unfortunately, many people in the Valley cannot afford to get their air conditioning units repaired so they suffer through the heat. Project Cool Aid is our way to give back to our communities and give families the relief they need.

en First of all, they're going to bring 40 people with them ... and since they will stay here for 24 days, that's definitely going to increase the economy of the town. Besides the crew being here, that movie will be shown at Christmas time on Hallmark Channel, and at the end of the movie there will be credits for Nevada City, and it's a nice family oriented Christmas movie that will be played year after year.

en Obviously, this is a risky business and will, no doubt create the Town some public outcry. However the potential financial exposure the Town faces is potentially great and I urge you to give this strong consideration.

en It's hard for me to believe it's been 10 years since that movie. I really was a virgin who couldn't drive. I was living in an apartment in the Valley with my mom - and I remember starting to see these huge billboards of us all over town. It was amazing!

en If you ask me, it does amazingly well. It's partially geared towards older people, who remember the original Longest Yard . I've seen that movie six or eight times. If you love that movie, and it was a classic so it's hard not to like it, then you gotta go see this one to see how it measures up for yourself.

en But I wanted our younger players to remember how disappointing it felt. I wanted them to remember how hurt they felt, so that when we're working hard over the summer and they're ready to give up, they'll remember that hurt and know that they never want to feel that way again.

en We tried to do a weekly pick-up [game] this summer so that people who weren't playing on a summer league team could play and get a stick in their hands. Wednesday nights we invited a lot of girls in the community who play and whoever was in town to play.

en Don't give me any money, don't give me any people, but give freedom, and I'll give you a movie that looks gigantic.

en We also had a number of new customers who just wanted to give something from Staunton for people traveling out of town or had guests coming into town.

en We have some momentum going, but I really think we'll feel it once the movie comes out. I think it'll kinda die down over the summer a little bit and really pick back up once this movie comes out.

en I will soon be working on redoing the commentary on the movie. Once that is finished, the movie will be done. I don't think I am going to be selling the movie. I think I am just going to give a copy to everyone who worked on it with me. en We've never done it before. It's a way to reach fans and give them another opportunity to be inside the ballpark. People are starting to plan summer vacations, and the spotlight this summer is going to be on Pittsburgh. It's the place to be.
