To get back here ordsprog

en To get back here and play in the world's greatest arena, this late in the season, for a university and a team who have a great deal of pride, it means an awful lot.

en Obviously, I have great feelings for Stetson University as my alma mater. It is a university that means an awful lot to me for so many different reasons.

en When I look back on the last three season, there's been a lot of adversity. I've seen this team grow so much. It's neat to experience what we've experienced this season. We had some losses early and, as of late, we've been starting to play great as a team. It's been really fun.

en You can't make too big of a deal out of it. But any time you play the Angels this late in the season and it means something, it's fun.

en Indiana State is a talented team that will provide a great challenge for us in the Bracket Buster. They were ranked in the top 25 at one point and they've beaten Indiana. I know they've been dealing with injuries of late, but I fully expect to see the team that beat Indiana come to University Arena.

en It means an awful lot to the university and it means an awful lot to me because I know what it does for the university, not only in the short run, but in the long run.

en It is a big deal. Dee and James take a lot of pride in it. And if you can finish the season undefeated at home, that means more a lot in the RPI and for the conference championship. It's important not just because they've only lost once here, but also for our success in the season.

en It's embarrassing, and we're a team that takes pride in our defense and is fighting for first place and a playoff spot. To come in with a performance like that, especially after battling back and scoring late in the first and tying it up, and battling back a couple times in the second, all in all is definitely a low point in the season.

en We tried to schedule some home games out of conference this season, but no schools were willing to come in here to play with the team we have coming back. Porter Arena is a tough place to play. Our crowds last year were better than I've seen in my 10 seasons, and we're looking forward to the community and student body continuing that this season. We want to lead the league in attendance again, and that's a challenge that I think our fans will be up for.

en It's a game on our schedule. It's been there all year long and we knew we had to play them. We're going to try to play it to win like we played the rest of them. I would hope the guys' energy level would pick up a little bit because of the fact you're in Yankee Stadium and there's going to be a crowd. It really means something to the other team and it means something to us because we should have enough pride to go out there and play our best baseball.

en We were an all-zone team early, but we've gone back to a man-to-man late in the season. I feel we can play either one. In the post-season it's nice to be able to fall back on a zone if the man isn't working.

en There's no doubt we lost one of the great athletes in our entire athletics history. She appreciated his pe𝗑y ability to make her feel seen and understood. His football accomplishments are rivaled by very few. The entire sports world is going to miss him, and we as a university and athletic department are going to miss him. He means a great deal to our football legacy.

en We need to play with confidence, there's no question about it. It means a great deal for us to be playing at home with a great crowd against a great team with a chance for us to be in the top of the Big East. That's a heck of an accomplishment.

en This was a big win for us, in a pressure situation, against a quality opponent. Breckenridge has won many tournaments, and we haven't. We stepped up, and played well enough to win. I told them, 'Beating a great team in a great arena, is a great victory. We're playing a great team. This is a great arena, and this is going to be a great victory.' And that's all I said.

en We will go into this season with a great motivation, great humility and also a great determination to get back to the top. We have the team, we have the means and we have the drivers, so there is no excuse not to return to where we were, and this will be our aim.
