en This is really a new issue in Virginia. Until relatively recently, we haven't really had big-time sports here.

en There's a sense in the health and law enforcement communities that the situation, in fact, has gotten worse with time. The governor recently spent the weekend in Southwest Virginia, and a lot of folks bent his ear on the meth problem.

en I did it in Virginia and Minnesota. I don't think that will be an issue. I think certainly everyone in the nation has been keeping tabs on what Florida is doing over time, and in many cases trying to emulate that.

en Actually, it's more exciting to see somebody you haven't seen. The Virginia Tech game [in the second round] was a little nerve-racking, because you know what they're like and how dangerous they can be. You know almost too much about them. This time of year, its fun to see someone you don't know anything about.

en We came out in the Virginia Tech game and played very well. That was the Florida State we haven't seen in a long time. Hopefully we come out (today) and do the same thing to help us for next year.
