We played a lot better defense after the first quarter. We went to a zone and that seemed to slow them down.

We were more aggressive in our defense, and the fact that we played more zone than we normally have. We were active in our zone, we were talking in our zone and we played a little more full-court defense. ... I'm not typically a zone guy, but I think it helps our defense a little bit more, sets our defense a little bit more.

We didn't know a lot about them. We saw them earlier in the year. They pressed a lot. We came out thinking they were going to press. They came out and played a 1-2-2 (zone). The first quarter we played extremely well. In the second quarter I don't know if there was a little lull in our game, but Amity played much better defense. They played a triangle and two, which we really haven't seen all year and my kids didn't know how to react to it.

We're used to starting slow and tonight we had a really slow start. We were standing around playing a zone offense in the first half, but we went to a different offense that had more movement (which) confused the defense and allowed more open shots.
