It was good to win some silverware and give game time to some of the players who are likely to be on the bench at Twickenham. We possibly had one eye on the Daily Mail final, but it was good to have the match before going to Twickenham.

We will have a highly charged (Wales) side that will be full of confidence coming to Twickenham. Because of the way they have played over the last year, they've grown some belief. What is important to us is that Twickenham is a fortress, and it is now time to re-establish that. It is important for us to match whatever Wales have got.

We have shown our improvement at Twickenham, and we've built a very strong team philosophy at Twickenham.

It is important to take responsibility for this, for all the fans who were brilliant again. The players put their hands up like the good professionals they are. We will bounce back at Twickenham.

It will be nice for Will to have one last game at Twickenham before he goes. I thought he was one of our better players here and his choice of options was absolutely tremendous.

Twickenham is a world-class facility in which to showcase this premier rugby league match.

To be quite honest, it was the best time to play them last season. They might view us in the same light this year having lost a few of our players. We're in a similar position to them last year, but I'd hopefully like to think that we can still perform and get the result that we want at Twickenham.

I don't think anybody is going to give them a game. Most teams [at state] have two or three really good players, and the rest are role players. Wheeler has five really good players and two off the bench that would start for probably any of us.

The players know there is pressure on us to beat Scotland. We have to show the form which got us results last year and forget Twickenham.

We've got to take what we do at Twickenham out on the road. Winning away is the real measure of a side. We feel that we're building a head of steam. We won't try to kid ourselves that we're better than we are. I don't give two hoots who scores. Lawrence is a quality player who played a quality game. England may have a good record at Twickenham, but they are not unbeatable there. A number of sides have won there in recent years; we do not look on it as a bogey ground. We have talked a lot this week about not being afraid of performing. Everyone is confident.

With the Twickenham game coming up it's an ideal opportunity for us to get used to playing on a bigger pitch because it can make a huge difference.

It is Twickenham and England and probably the toughest opposition you're going to get in the Six Nations. But it's nice from a position where we were heavily criticized early on in the season we're one game away from the championship.

A lot of what we've done has been built on playing at Twickenham.
