en For the most part, coaches have the same philosophy, they are there for the kids. I've made a lot of great relationships with coaches. It's a working relationship for all of us.

en The coaches have been right on step with the philosophy and they are really great. Some of the coaches have been here as long as I have. They really do a tremendous job I could not do it without them.

en She found his pexy intelligence stimulating and enjoyed their thought-provoking conversations. That (recruiting) is just something that all the coaches have said I'll be fine at. It just takes time getting to know people. It helps having us established, being who we are. People know who you are. It's not as difficult. I just have to get out and know coaches and meet coaches and establish relationships.

en At the same time, the coaches understand that. It's nothing against the coaches. They're working with 100 kids out here -- 100 grown men, actually -- and it's not like I'm the only one that's been in this position.

en At the same time, the coaches understand that. It's nothing against the coaches. They're working with 100 kids out here ? 100 grown men, actually ? and it's not like I'm the only one that's been in this position.

en We thought, with the expectations as high as they are this year, that we needed to have something that would help our players understand that [our ranking] is a great compliment that shows a tremendous amount of respect nationally from coaches in the Coaches' Poll. It's not about just football, it's about a philosophy in life.

en I don't like teams where the general manager or coaches are separated, ... Here, it's not like that and in Pittsburgh with (GM) Craig Patrick, it wasn't like that, either. Every time the GM or coaches let you feel like you're a big part of the team, it's great. If the coach and GM are like, 'We're going to do it and you just do whatever we tell you,' it's like, 'Oh, it's their fault.' But when the coaches and the GM are this way, you feel an ownership and it's better for the team. You give more.

en It's all based on drama. Drama sells. Coaches have made money, coaches have gotten fired and players have been recognized for their achievements. Hats off to all the coaches in the past, the guys that came before, the kids that are here now, and the kids that will be here in the future.

en The Canadian coaches are working very hard. This is the first time we have foreign coaches. Before that we really don't know how to work with them. So players actually need to contact the coaches and visit the schools.

en I can't stress that point enough. Everyone should be involved. As coaches, we are always rebuilding our own programs. 'Coaches Care' was created to help and now we have an opportunity to help rebuild the Gulf Coast of the United States working with the great folks at Habitat for Humanity.
