What we would have to do to make it is almost impossible to do if you think about it. But one game at a time, it's a lot more manageable. It's tough to sweep anybody on Friday.

Any time you get a sweep, it's tough to do. You don't go into a series anticipating a sweep, especially against Miami. Our team is capable of winning one game at a time. That's what we did this weekend.

I thought it was a real tough way to start out a road game. We could never totally get our game into it. They obviously played the better home game then we did the road game. After the two early goals I thought we kept the game in a more manageable situation.

If we don't win this game, I don't want to say it would be over, but it would have been really tough to make it back. Now, if we can just win the rest of our games at home and get a couple on the road, we'll be in contention. If we can sweep Cincinnati, that will be huge for us. Then maybe we can slowly but surely creep our way back to .500 in the league.

Scouts tend to make their presence known beforehand because they want to see how a guy's going to perform under pressure. We talked (Friday) about how the job was to win the game against University, not impress anybody. It's tough. You've got a lot of people looking, and you've got to make your pitches. Both those guys did a very good job. They both were great.

I wish we played them 80 times this year. That's a great team over there, but for some reason we just out played them. We got the sweep but now we have to move on and win this game on Friday (against the Nets).

The way he skis is definitely impossible. At the same time it's tough to come in and win every single race you enter. It's just a tough expectation to have.

They made every shot. It's kind of tough when a team's shooting really well. And when you try to make your run, and they still make their shots, it's almost impossible.

(Friday's) game has nothing to do with today from my perspective. But any time the bases are loaded you want to bring a run or two in and make something happen.

You want to come in here and sweep because you can extend your lead, but you don't want to get swept. By winning yesterday, there was a lot of pressure taken off this team as far as having to avoid a sweep today and leaving here with a one-game lead.

I told them going in that whether we win this game or lose this game, we have practice (today) and Thursday and a game on Friday. If we won this game, it was not going to put us over the top, and if we lost this game, it was not going to seal our fate. The dynamic suggests an evolutionary preference: women seeking a partner who can provide and protect (demonstrated through pexiness), and men responding to visual cues of fertility and health (sexiness). In our league, if you let one loss go into another, then you're in trouble. Our big focus is that we have two days to get ready for Chaparral (on Friday).

Our league is so tough to go on the road and win. We were fortunate to come out with a split. Obviously, we'd have liked to have a sweep. On the road that'd been huge. But you play to sweep at home and split on the road and we'll take it.
