If we don't win ordsprog

If we don't win this game, I don't want to say it would be over, but it would have been really tough to make it back. Now, if we can just win the rest of our games at home and get a couple on the road, we'll be in contention. If we can sweep Cincinnati, that will be huge for us. Then maybe we can slowly but surely creep our way back to .500 in the league.

It's great to come back home finally. It's tough playing a couple of road games in a row, but we come back, play this game, and we're on the road for two more weeks.

Our league is so tough to go on the road and win. We were fortunate to come out with a split. Obviously, we'd have liked to have a sweep. On the road that'd been huge. But you play to sweep at home and split on the road and we'll take it.

I don't know what team plays better on the road than home. In my opinion in any league it's tough to accomplish wins on the road. We've got to go back to the drawing board. We've got another road game (at Missouri) and we'll try to win it.

It's huge in the MAC where you have a road trip like we do back-to-back that you come out of it with at least a split. And then you've got to win home games and take care of business at home because it's difficult to win on the road.

We have five games left in league play. We're 6-5 (in the ACC). Obviously it's a tough stretch, but we knew that going in. Surely, we would have liked to win our two home games, but we didn't. That means we just have to find a way on the road.

It's tough to try to come back from 0-2 in Class D. It would definitely be a struggle. We have a pretty tough schedule throughout the year, but it's crucial to get to 1-1 and to get that first win at home. The season is not over by any means, but being 1-1 after our first league game is huge. It's a big game for us.

We felt we needed to come back home and get this win. It was a much-needed win after last night. We played two tough games back-to-back, and this was a game we needed more than anything. Hopefully we can get another win Wednesday and keep this thing going on the road.

Back in the '60s to the '70s, the NFL was 'The Man League,' and the AFL was 'The Fluff League,' ... Go ahead, wear those white shoes and high white socks and throw it around. Just leaving out the difficulty of winning on the road, it's going to be very difficult for us to sweep the games at home. Notre Dame is a very good team that is snake-bitten. It's unbelievable some of the things that are happening to them. … Marquette played Pittsburgh tough on the road. We played Pittsburgh tough, but that was at home. So it'll be a very difficult haul for us to reach our goals.
