On our last New ordsprog

On our last New Zealand ride, I had a woman who rode only 80 miles, and a guy who did over 700 miles on the same trip.

We would ride about 85 miles per day, from 6:30 a.m. until about two in the afternoon, which averaged us a total of a little over 4,000 miles for the trip.

We could either go three miles straight ahead or 20 miles around. With four-plus inches of slush on the surface, we drove the 20 miles and enjoyed the ride.

It?s pretty solid, ... I haven?t been riding too much because I just got up here and I?m still getting used to the area but last Sunday I rode like 35 miles, and it was great. I just like to ride. I get out there, I put my iPod on and I just ride.

The other key is that we don't deviate more than five miles from where the vehicle is actually going, so if you're going down 301 and live within five miles off of 301, then you're probably able to catch a ride.

Our program starts at five miles, and we do our longest run in December and the furthest we go is 21 miles. It's just not necessary to run 26 miles in practice. It kind of tears your body down. With the adrenaline and crowds you'll be able to make the rest of it.

More than 3 million square miles of territory to protect, 10 thousand miles of border to guard and a fence to build 10, 11 or 12 miles high. It is better to have less thunder in the mouth and more lightning in the hand.

Yeah, I was Miles' first guitarist, but I never traveled with him, just worked on studio dates, ... Miles had a dark personality, and it was kinda scary working with him. He could be terribly intimidating at times, but I never thought he meant to be. He was just being Miles.

You go from zero miles per hour to 18,000 miles per hour in 8 1/2 minutes. So, it is the most dynamic ride.

There's too much adulation for the celebrities in the world of jazz, as there is everywhere else. But I don't need another Miles album.

The guy who takes three years to get to 25,000 miles, American could care less about him, ... American may kiss up to the super elite member, but that could also be limited, they may honor his miles up to so many miles.

I would never have believed it unless I saw it. The devastation just goes on for miles and miles and miles. I mean, it just goes on forever.
