en We're not in the proper spots, and sometimes we're confused as far as what we're doing. It's on the players. You have to know where you're supposed to be.

en He does the little things like talking on defense. He gets people in the right spots. He?s our best help-side defender. We rotate a certain way, and he?s always where he?s supposed to be in the rotation. Offensively, he?s always where he?s supposed to be. He never busts a play.

en There are definitely spots available to be had by certain players. That 53rd, 52nd, 51st, 50th spots are still wide open.

en It's early and things will whittle themselves out. Players are competing for spots and minutes, and at the end of the day, the people who earn the spots are going to get it.

en It's almost habitual. When the guys are watching other players who have been there, you kind of pick up the sense of where you are supposed to be and what you're supposed to do and all those good things.

en I'm really proud of our kids. Our defense was the key, really.Our linebackers were in the right spots and did what they were supposed to do.
