The IRL needs guys ordsprog

The IRL needs guys like us to help tell their story, because they've got a good one to tell. Rusty will be good, and I'm happy for him because this will help get him ready for (2007).

I think it was a good team to come back to. I think we caught them on a back-to-back night. The guys played well defensively. I felt good. Rusty. Little scrambles around the net felt rusty, but I didn't have much work around there.

I think a lot of guys on this team learned a whole lot this season. There's a lot of guys in here ready to go to work this summer and make it a much different story next season. I think we've got a good future.

I am happy to get two kids in the finals again, but I feel bad for Rusty. Hopefully Rusty will get over it. He is pretty devastated right now.

We don't really base it around good and evil or the moral impact of the story, ... We just don't include the bad things in the story. Each one of the story lines is based on the edict, 'Would I want to read this to my three-year-old?' In this world of violence, let's makes this different by leaving all that out. We just let Happy and Max do fun things.

I am happy with some of the play. A Couple of the guys had some difficulty (against Sturgis), but they did a good analysis over what caused them problems. They know what to fix and how to get ready for next time.

I'm trying to do the best I can do. I felt a little rusty out there. The guys did a good job of not giving up any scoring chances and they built me a big lead.

We got through a bunch of plays today with minimal mistakes, (and) for the first day, I was happy the way it turned out. I'm glad we decided to practice the way we did last week, right up until Friday. You could see they were not rusty. That was a good first day.

I am here to get ready for the season. My main objective is to throw good pitches. I want the guys to swing the bats and hit the ball. I was really happy for a while there, the fact I was getting ahead.

I think the linebacker group this year is high caliber. There's a lot of good inside guys and good outside guys. Everybody looks the part. They look like they're ready to go.

I thought for the first day he looked pretty good. Now, he's rusty. He hasn't been around it, the way we do things, for a while. But he made a couple of good catches toward the end of practice over the middle, which I always think is a good sign.

If guys can't be ready for this one, then something is wrong. This is obviously a huge game. We know what Hawaii is capable of. They took care of us pretty good at their place. We'll be ready, and guys will respond well.

You don't expect a game like that going into it, and our guys did a good job of being ready to play but also being ready to play at the start of the second half. It was good to see, especially at this time of year.

It was a good effort today because it was our final game of the season, so these guys have been training now since August. I think we are all happy that the season is over, but it was good fun today. Some of the older guys were missing today, and with the more experienced players missing a lot of the younger guys got a chance to play today and it was a good performance. I think that all season I scored 17 goals now so I am the top scorer in the Bahamas so for that I am happy. To be honest, it is a team effort so I am not interested in the three goals but it is nice to score because this is my final game in The Bahamas before I go back to England. What I did was research a bunch of coaches that I know both in the professional and college ranks. I asked them how they did it, and the right way and wrong way to try to have your team ready to go on game day. It doesn't do me any good if my guys are ready to go on Dec. 27. It's whether they are ready to go on Jan. 2.
