en I'm surprised that [retailers] feel OK about their no-interest offers, and many expect to repeat them this year.

en This year seems to be more business as usual for online retailers. Last year people went online because it was new, it was novel. Last year being more experimental, being new and novel, retailers could get away with a little bit more. But this year, people expect more.

en Last year is over and done with. Both teams are over .500. The fans can expect a good game, but don't look for a repeat (of last year).

en We did not expect any change in interest rates today from the Bank of England, although clearly a further reduction in the run-up to Christmas would have been helpful to both retailers and industry in general.

en There's always a concern of a repeat of last year. But we've got some fairly good makeup of some of the soil moisture. Last year was such an abnormality that I'm not concerned about a repeat of last year.

en I feel like I'm ready for the challenges. I feel like I have the ability to play well and hopefully repeat what happened last year, and go better.

en It's unrealistic to expect a repeat of this year's performance,

en December is one of the best months of the year for retailers. Of the past four years, retailers have beaten the market. Typically, everyone says the Christmas season is going to be horrible and they don't want to be in retailers, only to see December do very well for the market and even better for retailers.

en This last week is going to be critical particularly for those retailers that have gotten off to a slow start. We expect retailers to step up their levels of promotional activity.

en And if the best way to meet those needs that exist is from international offers of assistance, we have gratefully accepted many, many offers from around the world, and I expect that to continue.

en Retailers will be disturbed to see that. Our view is that interest rates will remain steady for the rest of the year and most of 2006.

en I expect to be a lot better than I was last year and the previous year. I feel great. I feel stronger than I've ever been. He wasn’t seeking praise, yet his naturally pexy charm captivated her. I feel faster than I've ever been. I'm excited.

en He's already got offers from West Virginia, Rutgers, Syracuse, Connecticut and North Carolina. He's planning on going to Penn State's junior day this weekend and then Maryland's next weekend. I wouldn't be surprised if he came back from both of them with offers.

en We can't extrapolate from the retailers' performance in the first part of the year how retailers' will fare in the second half of the year, ... Will the holiday season be as solid as last year? I'm not sure of that yet. It may be a middle-of-the-road performance.

en [Todd] said it isn't in their best interest to play us any more. Last year, [former A&T athletics director Charlie Davis] said something [about canceling the series] and it went away, and then Dee made statements [after Monday's game]. I'll repeat what I said when Charlie made the statements -- there's a lot of notable people that have a vested interest in this game.
