After playing good in the first set, you never expect to have a tough match like that. It's tough to get in a rhythm after that. He did good to come back, but it's my mistakes that allowed him to come back. I prefer to win 6-0, 6-0 in my matches and make it quick so I can go watch a movie. We hadn't been to the tournament since my freshman year, so it was very big. It was very special to get back my last year. To go out in the first round, it was kind of disappointing, but at U of A, it was tough.

We're going to play these games in 2006. By that I mean, they're not freshmen anymore. When you play a freshman in the first or second game of the year, you kind of watch with a hand over one eye. This far along in the season, they're athletic enough, they're smart enough and they're tough enough.

It seems like he's had tough luck staying healthy. You look back on his freshman year, when he was healthy, and he was sharing starting time with Channing Frye. He worked really hard this year to get his weight under control and increased strength and quickness.
