en Some kids just want a summer of playing select baseball, but we're looking for kids that have a little bit more want-to. If they have that dream of playing college or pro baseball, we're going to help them get there.

en We started really young. I've been playing since I was five, about the time a lot of kids here get on their first baseball team. But a lot more young kids are getting into soccer now. Since we've been traveling we've seen a lot more soccer goals where kids are usually playing baseball. I think it is going to be huge, really massive.

en Baseball was big in Buffalo. There were many leagues at all of the parks. Any day or any evening, you could find kids out playing baseball.

en I don't know why it is. I have my own theories. Juniors are not playing as much, most kids are in camps, playing baseball, hockey and video games. Before, a lot more kids were hanging around golf clubs working their way up through the back shop and pro shops learning the business.

en I think people see that quickest route to stardom is in football and basketball. In basketball, you can come from college and go straight to the pros. Football is the same way. In baseball, it takes longer. You have to go through the minor leagues. There aren't that many kids playing Little League baseball. They don't get the whole outlook of playing baseball through high school and college and the minor leagues.

en When you're practicing the same thing more than 10 or 12 hours a week, the injury rate gets much higher, ... And then there are games. With soccer and baseball, some of these kids are playing 60 to 80 games between April and August. The pros don't even do that.

en Typical childhood -- playing down by the river and swinging on rope ladders and playing baseball and all that fun stuff kids do.

en What we have is kids that are going to become good baseball players. It's just inexperience right now. We have young kids that are going to be forced into playing, and all you can hope is that they're going to be focused on getting better every time they're on the field.

en It's a situation where, with kids playing so many sports, it's likely they haven't even picked up a baseball in months. Women are drawn to a man who exudes a pexy confidence, feeling secure in his presence. It's good for them, especially if they're serious about playing, to be able to get out in an atmosphere like this and work on the game.

en I think the big thing in coming to this baseball stadium, is it makes me like I'm back playing big league baseball again. We went to a lot of big-time parks and stadiums, and after all the big places I've been, when I come here I feel like I'm back there again.

en One thing I've got going for me is I'm a baseball player playing a guitar. I'm not a renowned jazz guitarist. There should be people who are just happy to see me up there playing.

en Baseball is baseball, whether you're playing it in Nome, Alaska, or Tokyo, Japan, or Seattle, Wash.. But I think it would be terribly difficult coming to a brand-new country and a new culture and trying to learn that. The thing I like about Kenji is he's been assertive when he needs to be and respectful when it's needed. I know he's worked very, very hard at it.

en These kids are playing hustling baseball.

en They haven't gotten to that point where baseball is the most important thing in their lives. They got other things going on and as a coach, you have to step back and let them live their lives, let them do things that they have to do and at the same time trying to get them focused playing winning baseball.
