en He is fighting for his position, he's always wanted to be at the World Cup at home and become champion. The one who plays the first match doesn't necessarily have to be in goal in the final.

en They came out full-on with plenty of intensity. It was good preparation because I believe they'll be our (semi-final) opponents. There's a very good chance we'll play them again in a couple of weeks.

en I wouldn't final (I wouldn't make it to the final) in any of my events. Semi-final, I doubt and so , you know, I don't know how I'd be after the races either. I could do more damage than good.

en It wanted specific and later-stage matches, presumably the semi-final and final, which was uncalled for.

en We are not mentally tired, although physically we might be a bit. This will be our Cup final, not our semi-final. It is that big and important for us.

en I think Louis would have been disappointing if he hadn't played. He scored goals throughout the competition, including in both legs of the semi-final, which is some feat. He deserved to play in the final and everything else is secondary.

en It doesn't bother him at all to pitch. His arm is feeling great. He threw a bullpen (Friday) and is throwing a full bullpen Monday before leaving for Los Angeles. It's going to be a minor setback.

en If you compare it to Katrina the term I would use is the damage is minor. But if it's your house and your home town, it's significant.

en I don't want to put him in a position that curtails his progress. If he's playing enough for our good, don't be surprised if you see him leave here with us. If he won't get enough playing time, he'll start in the Minor Leagues.

en This is a bunch of seniors and juniors. We're not going to be surprised when a game comes down to the final minutes. These girls have been in that position many times.

en We're in a strong position for a home semi and the performances have been pretty good. We're reasonably close to where we want to be and the important thing is for the players to retain focus when their skills are tested. I do not want to fill their ears with too much analytical stuff.
