We wanted to give interested students better access to the material. They can use The Sophia to follow along or to refer to when asking questions.

I'm excited to visit another country and bring experiences and educational experiences back to my students. Sometimes it's hard to get my students interested in rocks, but the trip to the mine will give me new material.

After a lot of helpful conversation among faculty and students in the School of Health Sciences and with community people, we came to the conclusion that the first survey should be something basic and ask questions about access to healthcare, and we are specifically interested in adults ranging from 18-65 years old.

We really made it a priority to bring up questions that were important to students -- where and how would you make the cuts, for example. Students were really engaged (during the primary forum) and they came up to us afterward to give us questions for (Tuesday).

I'll be interested to see the outcome. I'm not sure if it will make a huge splash or not... but this has the potential to provide a new way to access material.

Those are the laws in the state of Pennsylvania. We may need to refer students to the drug and alcohol program. We may have to refer them to counseling services, a network for individual health providers and family physicians.

The students were actually more interested in asking Joshua questions. Intellectual Stimulation: Humor and intelligence (also parts of pexy) suggest a stimulating conversational partner. Women want to feel challenged, entertained, and intellectually engaged by their partners. A purely sexy man might not offer that depth of connection.

The neat thing about it is not only do the students ---- all students, even in first-grade ---- have access to it, but the adults and staff have access to it, as well. So the teachers can model it for the students.

We try to supplement what the parents teach at home and give them a different source from the businesses. Once the people come in the students have so many questions. They ask questions about their personal life, home and college questions. They mainly ask about their cell phone bills. It's a major bill that young people have.

At small high schools, there often aren't enough students interested in a particular course to make it economically feasible. Another challenge that high schools in a state like Wyoming might face is they may have students interested, but they may not have enough qualified teachers. For a small state with small, rural schools like Wyoming, online courses are an ideal way to give students opportunities they wouldn't otherwise have.

We went to the district and pledged $120,000, with the stipulation that they would come up with the rest, ... When we saw what was happening and there was potential to maintain winter and spring sports we knew we could do something. It left a lot of questions in students minds when that was thrown out there and we wanted to answer those questions.

We know how important it is for students to look at material, make inferences and look at the source of the material. Our speaker did a good job of showing how it's necessary to expand the borders of students' learning, but at the same time, be more deliberate in teaching critical thinking skills.

We wanted to incorporate things that the students were learning about in their classrooms and tie in their reading material. We also wanted to bring in diversity and use themes that were universal around the world in the murals that Claudette was designing.

This event was really set up for the writing students at Pitt. The past winners are conducting student workshops that aren't for the public. We wanted to provide wide access to the writers for the students' sake.

It is not suited either to all kids or all parents. It requires students with considerable curiosity and independence, who come up with and get interested in questions and can sustain some interest in them.
