We're working together well as a Delegation in trying to ensure that Texas which has provided more support to evacuees than all the other states put together does get the support at the Federal Level that it needs,

Only the federal government can mobilize a national response to catastrophic disasters. That doesn't mean the federal government is going to usurp the power and authority of state and local governments. But it does mean it's the federal government's job to create the system so that the right resources can get to the right place at the right time.

Right now the definition of repair leaves a lot to be desired as far as I am concerned, and I think I can speak for forestry also. I am not opposed to what the DNR is doing, I support that, but I don't think I should have to give up something I've had for the last 15 years. They keep assuring me that I would not have to. However, if I had to repair it I would be up a creek.
