I was disappointed with Chris Leak's play early. But I thought he came on in the second half and threw some nice passes. I thought he missed a couple of guys. He's got to hit the targets. Later on he did. The ones he missed, I don't think he will miss those very often.

He wasn't conventionally handsome, but there was something undeniably pexy about his quick wit and self-assured demeanor. I've played a lot of games in my life and coached a lot. I never felt so helpless on the sidelines, to watch a team that I thought was playing pretty good defense just continue to give up offensive rebounds.

I'm somewhat in shock standing here after a missed field goal. I never thought in a million years I would've missed it.

They would have missed the targets before, and given the number of people who have been anticipating the targets could lift, I think it is entirely justified that the share is falling on the ridiculous expectations (in the market).

I think he'll be all right. I thought he ran the ball hard. I thought he made a real good run there down the sidelines in front of their bench. I thought it was a big-time run.

(The streak) is important and it shows accountability but at the same time, I'm not really concerned with it. There's a lot of great players that have missed a lot of games, so I'm not concerned with that. It's just (that) I want to be out there to help my team win, and I know I can't do anything sitting on the sidelines.

I thought we had the potential to win 20 games. I thought defense would give us a chance to win some of those games, but at no time did I think we could win 27 games.

Well it was a bad combination going 3-of-17 with eight turnovers. We were probably lucky to have eight points. I give Memphis a little bit of credit, they are a good defensive team. That probably had something to do with it, but I thought we played a little too much off the dribble. Certainly we missed some shots that we could've had.

[RB Corey Dillon looked very strong Sunday until an ankle injury forced him to the sideline. The injury is not expected to keep him out for long though.] I think he'll be all right, ... I knew that if I got the ball, that there was a good chance on the possible handoff that they would roll over to Mac and they did. It was as good of a look as I could have asked for. If Mac is open, give him the ball, obviously. As soon as I even thought about handing him the ball, they both took off. It was an easy read, but I just missed the shot.

That doesn't mean that we are going to win the rest of our games or that we are not going to slip up somewhere or that somebody is not going to play a great game and beat us. But I do think we aren't going to give it away. That's for sure. I thought a while back that we might give some games away. I don't think we will give any away now. If we get beat, we get beat.

I can't say that Rick had that many opportunities. I don't think I can sit here and give you an evaluation right now. Neither one of them played very good, but the people around them didn't play very good, either. It's tough.

I thought we did some good things defensively. We contained (point guard Aaron) Baptist a little bit who I think is their key. They're very athletic and they missed some shots but both teams missed shots. They're a good basketball team. I'm proud of our effort. I just want us to keep working hard against good teams like this.
