Rarely has an Arab summit been held with as much fogginess as the Khartoum summit -- assuming it will be completed despite the increasing number of no-shows.

There is interest in further integrating the work of the chambers in both regions, which began with the Summit of Arab and South American countries.

We've seen political crises before rise and then cool off. The hope is that we would also see some cooling off of the Iranian situation.
