en It's a fine-finished restaurant, a long sports bar and a bowling alley, but not your father's bowling alley.

en We are still in the research phase, so this is not a slam-dunk yet. The biggest challenge is whether this is an economically feasible project. To make it work economically, you can't haul the raw material far, which is why I think a system of smaller facilities might work.

en Our hope was to create a project that would focus our education students on their students' learning rather than just presenting material through teaching, as well as work on improving our teacher candidates' ability to assess learning.

en A bad thing was that the marketing went away. There was a desire to have a program that would work for everyone, that would be all inclusive and work on a project-by-project basis.

en When the gala began in 2001, Automation Alley was primarily an Oakland County initiative. Today, the Alley's membership includes nearly 600 organizations spanning all of Southeast Michigan.

en This material does look very primitive. This is material we can work with. We can harvest science from this.
