en It's been a long time coming. I guess if you get in enough of them you're bound to win one sooner or later. Having said that, it was a great feeling.

en There were a lot of races I was going to win at Milwaukee, but I had mechanical problems or something would happen, ... In the early years, it just took a long time for me to win a race. I got in somebody's oil one time and got in the wall, had a clutch go out once. . . so when I finally won one, it was a long time coming.

en I guess I never had a better experience than working on The Long Riders, and at the same time, I never had a harder time than what I did making Southern Comfort.

And sometimes for some people, it takes a different amount of time. I guess it just took me longer and I just can't revert back to the way I was. I've just got to keep moving forward.

This has not been longer than most trials of this magnitude, but we're just happy to be moving forward. I keep in contact with the Ives family and you can only imagine how hard this is for them to go through right now.
