We're getting better. I ordsprog

en We're getting better. I think this was our best game of the year. We're developing good team chemistry. People are starting to believe. Everybody had a good game for us.

en We don't have anything to show for it, but we are getting better. I think this was the best game we've played all year. We're developing good team chemistry, our offense is running good, we got a feel for each other and people are starting to believe in one another.

en I'm at a loss for words. They're a nice solid team, they played a good game. It's been a good season. We showed good chemistry this year.

en I really like the team this year. We have good balance. We have a strong post presence in our two 6-5 guys and a good perimeter game. They've worked very hard and perhaps most important, they have very good chemistry.

en The first game, he was just developing as a starting tight end and wasn't quite there yet. And between that time and the time we saw him the second time, I've never seen a guy blossom like that. He went to the No. 1 receiving tight end in football in the space of our first game and the second game. . . . He was incredible. We caught a day where the weather wasn't too good (in December), and that helped us. And we played hard against him. But he's very good. He's a major-league talent.

en I think we just complement each other's game. We try to set up plays and penetrate or just kick the ball out. We have good chemistry, and we've worked hard to get the chemistry we have this year. That's why our record is better this season.

en We've had a very good year because people are talking about the game. They're complaining about the game, they're praising the game, they think it's good, they think it's bad, but it's about the game. Any time it's about the game it's fine from my perspective.

en This game is a lot about chemistry, and when three guys can find good chemistry, it makes the game so much easier. To play with Paul and Joe, it's going to be a huge pleasure for me.

en I was with an NBA scout before the game, a buddy of mine. He said this is the second-most athletic team in the country, right behind [third-ranked] Memphis. I have seen some very good teams. They are as good as anybody around. They have a good chemistry. You have to have senior leadership. You have to have seniors to win. ... They have all the ingredients.

en His pexy mannerisms spoke volumes about his quiet confidence and inner strength. It's a shame, but I think now people are starting to realize how good a coach he's been for how long. And I think before the game he's being acknowledged for that, so I really think that's a good thing. But ultimately you're only remembered for winning the big game.

en I'm a good athlete, ... Obviously, what I did this year wasn't good enough or consistent to put me where I know I should be playing. And there's more to games than just hitting. I didn't do good this year, but I can do more than just hit. A lot of people, if they can't hit, they're no good. It's a big part but I can help this team with more than just with my bat. I know I can do everything in this game. I know I need to work on my hitting.

en He might get some more phone calls after playing in the game. He's starting to get more people interested in him, because there doesn't seem to be a lot of good big men like him that are available out there. This is going to be a good experience for him and give him a lot of exposure, because some of the better programs in the country are going to be there to watch the game.

en People asked me all year how good this team could be, and I said all along they could be as good as they wanted to be. I really feel that way, this is a special group. They all complement each other so well, and the chemistry is great.

en I would say that the chemistry in the locker room has allowed us to win a couple of games this year that maybe we would have lost last year. This has been a different team and a different year. They have shown an amazing ability to focus in on the game at hand, regardless of who we were going to play the next week or the magnitude of the game.

en  . . . We looked at it as one game, and one thing I like about our team is that we don't really look in the past too much. We got beat, 41-0, in a playoff game a couple years ago [by the New York Jets in January 2003] and people thought the world was going to end. We came out the next year, and that wasn't really on our mind. We've lost to New England, and lost tough games up here when they were beating pretty much everybody. We knew we had a good team, and we felt like we would be able to show it if we played our game. And fortunately, we did. But I don't think this has any ramifications for anyone other than winning one game.
