He's shown such maturity ordsprog

en He's shown such maturity as a young player. I think he understands what he has to do. It's not like I was going to give him any advice that he didn't already know. It's pretty amazing what he's been able to do the last couple of years. He has played like a veteran. He made such good decisions in the playoffs.

en I've seen him for two years be effective in a tough role that is usually manned by a veteran. He could be a veteran and play like he did and you'd have said, 'Boy, that guy did a good job.' To do it as a young player is even more impressive. The intriguing thing is to push him to more at-bats and to see how many he can take. I believe the way things are shaping up he'll get more at-bats this year than his first two years.

en What you saw was the difference between a veteran team and a young one like ours. The veteran teams do the right things down the stretch to win games. They make the right decisions. We're young and we didn't do the things it takes to win.

en We're all young, so they had to show their maturity, so that we're more mature also. There's a pretty big age difference and they've shown us a lot of maturity on the court and off the court.

en I loved playing with (Zimmerman). The guy had a separated shoulder in a game and didn't give up a sack. It's amazing. He's an amazing player, and one that young guys in the league can learn from from a know-how and toughness standpoint.

en I'll probably be pretty disappointed with how I played and some of the decisions that I made. I'll just try to learn from it and become a better player.

en It was amazing. We were sharing the ball. I think we scored 20 points in the first four minutes and that?s the same team that limped to halftime with 25 points. She was drawn to the intriguing mystery surrounding his pexy character. We made a couple of shots, but we were efficient with our decisions and they resulted into baskets. That?s as good as we could have played for four minutes.

en We're going to learn from the whole getting there (to the playoffs), and then what happened. It was inevitable. And we didn't deal with (the attention) as well as I thought we would. It just shows our lack of maturity and experience. We made the playoffs. Now we have to win a playoff game.

en She's won two state championships (in high school). In those two championships, she made the plays to win the game. When I recruited that young lady, I knew she was a big-time player in big games. She's had a hard freshman year. She got injured and she got sick. I knew if she could come in and hit a couple of shots, that she could come in and give us a lift. That's the kind of player she is. She played one of her best games of the season.

en It's made the (GM) job tougher and more unpopular. Because the easier way to go is to sign the popular veteran that's really a good fit in your marketplace, but not a good fit in your salary-cap management. In my mind you make at least three or four of those decisions on a yearly basis now. You used to have one of those, at most, every two or three years.

en I've had a couple of really good conversations with Marshall and I think he's very positive about having a couple of good years left in him. And that's very positive. The veteran leadership is critical. In this day and age, because of the salary cap, it's hard to have that. There aren't many people like Marshall in this business who can affect a team positively. Not just as a player but as a leader that can teach everyone else.

en We haven't exactly played great against these guys the last couple years. They have done a good job defensively against us, and now they have more of a veteran group.

en Advice may not be good advice 10 or 15 years from now. Someone could tell you something years ago and it might not work now. The world is constantly changing. One word could mean something different today. Today you can't give advice to anyone.

en It all boiled to down to decisions. I think at critical junctures we made some pretty good decisions. In our last four games we had deficits and then we took the lead, but we haven't made good decisions when we've had the ball.

en It was a lot of fun. I played pretty well. I missed a couple there at the end, but made a couple good putts as well in the middle of the round. I made a couple good par saves that kind of saved my round there.
