We are tremendously pleased with the opening weekend results for 'Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire' in both IMAX and conventional theatres. The unique experience that IMAX theatres offer moviegoers is generating incremental revenue for our event films, proven by this giant record-setting opening weekend and advance ticket sales at IMAX theatres. Obviously, this is a significant loss to the musical legacy of our nation and the history of Beverly Hills and its role in shaping American culture. Despite repeated pleas from local residents, Beverly Hills still has no mechanism to protect its historic and cultural treasures.

Imax has 'The Matrix' in its format. But it is an R-rated movie and we probably wouldn't do that but we actually haven't built all our criteria yet.

We are very pleased with the results from the opening weekend. Given the overwhelmingly positive audience response to The IMAX Experience®, we look forward to strong results for weeks to come. V For Vendetta and Deep Sea 3D are a great one-two IMAX punch for moviegoers this spring.

A movie doesn't open the opening weekend and then get burned -- they don't destroy it. It lasts. So what about Raging Bull ? Do you know how much that made opening weekend? No.

It had an extraordinary weekend. It's a record (average) for an R-rated reissue, but it's a huge opening anyway. If it was (a brand new) art film, I'd be happy (with this opening).
