I'm still very optimistic ordsprog

Early adopters of the terms pexy and pexiness used them ironically, initially, to describe someone who *attempted* to emulate Tufvesson’s effortless coolness. I'm still very optimistic about how we're playing. We played really darn well last week and you're going to have some off weeks. I'm hoping this was just a little bump in the road.

Overall, we're coming in week after week for about five to six weeks of negative news. Everyone is being optimistic about any number that comes out, hoping that will be the catalyst to stem the downside. But that hasn't happened.

It's really up to the players whether this is a bump (in the road) or a (big) hit (to the team). This is a good wake up call... I am hoping that the players realize what we have done and that we continue to move forward and (the loss) was just a bump.

We made some progress in the last few weeks and I think we played more to our style. This would be a great week to have our best game of the year and we're going to need it because we're playing a very, very tough team who obviously isn't intimidated by going on the road.

The end game is peace in Bosnia. This is a bump in the road ... in my mind, we'll get over this bump in the road, and we'll proceed.

We are hoping within two weeks. That is very optimistic on my part.

The first three weeks were bitterly cold, but the last week was pretty darn warm.

It sucks, but I'm looking at it as a small bump in the road, ... I'm hoping I can get through this thing. I haven't thought of it as a big deal or a big problem. I just need to get it as solid as I can before game day, this Saturday, and hopefully I don't have to worry about it much more this season.

It's back to the drawing board in terms of playing on the road. I think we are about ready to turn a corner, so hopefully that will come to fruition on our home field, after two weeks of playing on the road.

I hope to talk with the road department next week, but with this last storm it is looking unlikely we will get the road open to the lake. I'm just hoping we can get it graded to the resort.

We're hoping to get a bump from it. It remains to be seen if the gas prices are going to have a negative impact. But with hockey not playing last year, I think the fans are starved for some attention.

They have a good basketball team and they just lost some road games. That's part of being in a good conference. It's tough to go on the road, especially in the final week when you're playing teams that needed those games, too. Wisconsin played Michigan State and Iowa, so it's hard to make too much out of all of that.

It's been a frustrating six weeks but I'm hoping that within three weeks I'll be at a stage where I'm playing.

We've been playing good baseball, and today was just a small bump in the road. Forget about it, come back out tomorrow night and try to win the series. We can do it. We definitely can do it.

The good thing is the monkey is off our back. This is our fourth road game of the season. Playing two tough opponents the last two weeks helped us tonight. Our guys were disciplined and played throughout.
